I'll def check out Tortoise in Welly, they were great last time (15 years ago or whenever it was)! I enjoyed Meshuggah last time too but I wish the singer would shut up for a bit (or a lot). The Cult were my favourite band back in high school but don't think I'll make the the trek up or down to see them now. Really looking forward to Monolord & Ufomammut too.

saw them when they came 10yrs ago..was pretty awesome. Having listened to a couple of tracks off Sorceress I honestly couldn't believe how shit they were....it made me go back to when I think Opeth peaked, which for me would be "still life" and man that album is just full of awesomeness. It's been on heavy rotation for the past 2 weeks and it still sounds a great and unique today as it did in 99

Mikael is all about the 70s prog these days, I have a copy of the concert they did at the royal albert hall, just epic, can't say I like the new stuff at all :(

Damn, so many haters for the new Opeth. It is really different to the old stuff though.

I love all their stuff just cause I think I like his songwriting. I'm outta the country for the Auckland show but I'm popping over to Sydney for their Opera House gig which is gonna be immense.

I actually only like the non-metal Opeth materials, because their metal stuff weren't metal enough for me, haha!
