Only heard great things about his shows. The guy tours for over 90% of the year apparently. Pretty impressive for his age

yeah he was in welly a few years back, with that and him going on about his wife - who was playing with him - it just made me want to snooze after awhile. Not my kind of thing really anyway

I think Tommy is the only performer I've ever seen receive a standing ovation from a Kiwi audience. We just don't do that.

Dunno, there was a standing ovation at Carmen on Saturday, and one a short while back at Amadeus. Perhaps you go to the wrong events :P

100% sure I do.
Actually, it's the opposite; my GAS habit means I don't get to go to live shows... or restaurants....or cafes.
I just get to go home.

Saw TE last time he was in Auckland. It was brilliant; a showcase of extraordinary talent and I am pleased I went.

I wouldn't go a second round anytime soon. Not sure why exactly, maybe because I don't have a great affinity to his type of music? I like the rawk...

Yeah. Good for a change I say. So much electric music dominating at the moment.. but thats not a bad thing.
A hand shandy isn't bad for a ticket. Standard these days.
