Hey, I'm at a blues jam tonight in Hamilton with my Harmonica man, Craig Bracken.

Biddy Mulligans on the main drag, from about 9pm.

How did it go? What was the setup like? Is it a regular thing?

It was actually really well run. Plenty of drummers, bass players, guitarists, harmonica players, singers and even a soundman! Also, beer vouchers for musicians!

very cool, why haven't we got something in Auckland? Anybody want to volunteer? I can't do the major organisation help but I'm more than happy to donate my time to drinking beer in possible venues and playing bass on the nights....

seriously I'm happy to co-coordinate a regular event

Once a month. With a good turnout too. I suppose I could look into it. I met my harmonica player at a jam night. He was pissed as a fart
