I'm just doing the Sunday at this stage, gold pit. Those prices for both days up the front were ouit of my price range - especially with my LA trip in April. Gotta have some money left to feed my GAS...

Another big name artist is being confirmed at midday today. Pretty stoked about Ozzy, not so sure about Lordi. Should drag my mum along to Alice Cooper as she saw him in the 70s.

I saw Kiss last time they were here.. one hell of a "show" ace gets down on one knee, and a rocket flies out of the neck of his axe to blow a par can "out of its fixture *cough*" to "swing off the power lead *cough*" but great fun.

I think they've geared this toward being a show, and not just a concert, especially with the theatricality of the Saturday acts, and the involvement of Weta Workshops doing special effects.

Arrrggh! I would so be there but I'm scheduled to become a dad the same day Ozzy plays... the missus wasn't impressed with my suggestion that I could provide support via txt message. Typically bloody unreasonable.
