Any Steve Lukather fans should come and catch him at The Civic in Auckland on March 2. They've never been to NZ before so should be awesome

they would be great to catch..... Toto have been here a few years back as the :backing band: to Boz scaggs, they were orignally his backing band before they stepped out on their own

Yeah I was talking to my sister's boyfriend the other night and he said the same thing. I never realised that.

common knowledge my man :-) you'll find capt theres a lot more to music than that "Bluesrock" band Lead Zepplin" ya love so much :-) a lots changed since 1969 :-)

I can't stand Toto but thats probably because of overexposure to 'Hold the Line' and 'Africa' in my formative years.... it put me off listening to anything else they played. Insipid MOR :P

Looking on Steve Lukather's website his gig list since 1979 includes no NZ dates so this would seem to be the first show TOTO have ever done here. I see they're doing a Boz Scaggs double bill in Japan after the OZ / NZ dates. If he plays like this You tube clip we're in for a goodie!
