this is on tomorrow nite, and I thought I was gonna miss it (party outta town) but turns out not.
we live just over 100m from the venue, and they're doing soundcheck right now. nice.. ub40 free concert from the comfort of my on pad...

luckily not.. it was quite enjoyable actual.
am told there's something like 20,000 extra people in vegas for it. all the motels (and there's shedlaods of them) are full, and taupo and tauranga are getting overflow
locals are said to be renting spare rooms on tardme for $300/night... and getting it! already promised ours to a mate who's attending a wedding in tauranga otherwise I may have considered it myself.. imagine how much duct tape and how many bolts I could buy!!!
