I've heard a lot about them but don't really know their music. I think I'll go though.
A guy I talk to a bit on a Beatles forum is on of the bands members uncle. He's always raving about how good they are
Anyone going to Interpol?

Yes, I'm a big fan. Their album "Antics" is excellent.
I'll attempt to sum them up - Joy Division vocals, reverb drenched Fender guitar sounds, dark, melancholic moods throughout, very organic and analogue, sharp suits and ambiguous evocative lyrics.
For fans of Arcade Fire, The Cure, Joy Division/New Order, The Fender Twin, Pluto,
There you go.

Oh I wish - I too heartly recommend them...love Antics and the new Our Love To Admire is even better....tasty guitar work, but no guitar hero's here. Catchy but slightly dark songs....in short, worth a listen regardless of your taste....
