Re: Zappa plays Zappa
anyone know if this is out on BluRay? (be nice to expand the library a little)
Thanks for posting this article as it made me head off to the Zappa Plays Zappa . com web site and I stumbled on this clip of Vai playing the solo from "More Trouble Every Day" now I know it's just showing off but in the context of Zappa it seems to fit.

anyway, I enjoyed it

Re: Zappa plays Zappa
I really liked the first half of that, up til the end of the sustained high note. Really nice playing. The second half was typical 'Vai being impressive', which is of less interest to me.sty wrote:anyone know if this is out on BluRay? (be nice to expand the library a little)

Re: Zappa plays Zappa
My local warehouse had one copy listed as in stock, but I couldn't find it
couple more to check in the next day or so if I can drop in sometime
(all at $18.95 for the DVD, doesn't seem to be a Blu-Ray listed online anywhere that I can see)

Re: Zappa plays Zappa
picked one up this morning from the warehouse in Hornby on my way into work, I shall watch/listen to it today as I work.
It's a special import price of $18.99 at the warehouse in general according to the sticker so anybody who's interested should ring round and find one with stock, I know at least four in the CHCH have them acording to the computer.
