Nickelback - Dark Horse ...
... okay ... here we go.
My name is Dave, I am a straight hetero sexual male and I really like this new Nickelback album.
Being that I am simplistic dirty ole rocker, I quite liked the chunky guitars, catchy riffs, solid drums and lead offerings. Sure the lead offerings weren't brilliant awe inspiring shred ... but I thought that it was better than average and certainly well worth a listen.
Damn it, I was singing along with it by the first choruses.
I know they are sell out, I know they write cheesy pop songs, I know they all sound the same ... but I like it. I can get my gravelly throat out and murder a few tunes with them.
We used to do Never Again in the band, so my scope of them is limited to what I have heard on the radio and that song - which was a total blast to play despite the basis of the song.
So there you have it ... Dark Horse is right ... I wasn't expecting to like it. Mum won it in a competition and gave it to me. So double bonus.

Re: Nickelback - Dark Horse ...
ah the guys that brought you lyrics such as
"Cause you look so much cuter with something in your mouth"
and
"I like your pants around your feet"
Yeah I actually own the first 2 albums.
