Is weight an issue ?

Is there a budget you are working too ?

Do you want to be able to add on later ?

What kind of music do you play and in what kind of venues ?

I've played in two bands (including presently) with JBL Eon G2s. They are an awesome powered speaker for 90% of situations and seem to survive just about anything. AND they're good for plugging into directly for band practices etc. My HK rig is decent as but for small gigs or when we're feeling lazy, the JBLs are excellent.

Will mainly be used at my restaurant for acoustic gat and vox performers. (Lower volume)

Also may use as stage monitors and for vox at rehearsal. Maybe a club gig or two.

I am looking hard at the Mackie 15" and horn..Thumpers

Scored a couple of Mackie Thumps last Wed.

Used them at my restaurant for acoustic guitar and vocals at low volume and at band rehearsal at medium volume.

Love em' so far. :D

I may be pickier than most, but I would never trust a Mackie product in a pro situation.

This must be a joke man , seriously .
