Pearl Jam Live - C4

Post by GrantB »

Anyone else dissapointed with Mike McCreedy's performance on the PJ live concert? Too much wiggly crap and not enough melodic stuff that I know he's capable of - looked like he was wacked on something stronger than Jack. Matt Cameron is a genious (drums) as always. Stone, well, he's just Stone. Forget the bassist but he's very stable and actually quite good. Anyway, just jerking off really that Mike sounded like crap...nice vintage guitars though!

I have two Pearl Jam DVD's. Great band. I admit that Mike does get a bit wayward on some of his solos there but Pearl Jam is a grunge band. Its meant to sound like anyone can play it.

Yeah, I though exactly the same thing about him in that concert.

I was mighty impressed with the U2 Slane Castle gig on earlier in the day.

I have the U2 one at Slaine Castle. Thats the best rock performance I have ever seen!

RHCP at Slaine Castle is great too.

The Zoo TV concert filmed in Aussie is bloody great.

Pearl Jam was not good. I had a DVD of theirs. It was so depressing. I think I feed it to the dog after watching it. Right right up there with watching a Warriors game

Both the Boston and Slaine concerts are fantastic. Bono's voice is sounding a bit shagged though.

Is that the one our fearless leader is trying to offload in the posting competition?

It could be. I really don't know what happened to it.

Maybe at the next Jam session we could burn it in a ritual. :P
