The Big Four

Post by Basket Case »

Took my girls to see Toy Story 3D in Albany (good fun!) today and saw The Big Four film being played on the preview screens. Anyone seen it on the big screen? It looks pretty cool. I'll probably get the dvd when it comes out.

I was toying with the idea of going, but I think it's about $33 or something ridiculous like that.

I'd pay $33 to go see it at a decent cinema. Get in there and throw up your goats.

looks like things went a bit pear shaped in the tron

Ben Stanley of Waikato Times reports: Police were called after a heavy metal fan threatened Hamilton cinema staff with a walking stick when they cancelled a screening of a concert due to technical difficulties.

More than 30 heavy metal fans were turned away at the door of the screening of the "Big Four" at Event Cinemas Chartwell on Thursday night.

The four-hour film featuring performances from heavy metal heavyweights METALLICA, SLAYER, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX was cancelled due to technical issues the cinema encountered with the "downloading" of the film.

One frustrated fan threatened staff with a walking stick, but was later calmed down by police.

Around 130 fans bought tickets for the screening. Cinema staff were able to contact around three-quarters of them before the scheduled 8 p.m. screening, but about 30 turned up.

I saw it thursday. It was a pretty cool movie, goes for about 4 hours so worth the $33 I reckon if you like all the bands (or most of them, I can't stand slayer).
Pretty annoying for the first few megadeth solos where for some reason they show ellefson or mustaine playing instead of broderick  Either they had no footage of him or whoever edited that part is retarded.
