Great review!
Sounds kosher too.
And you have as many guitars as my band.

2021 - we're working on booking it now. As usual I'll be giving a double pass away to a lucky forumite in each town

17th of October at Sky City Casino - which happens to be my wife's birthday, so I'm in trouble! If that show sells well, we'll do a second AKL show, I think on the 18th.Slowy wrote:Me! Me! I want to be there.

For sure. The coolest thing for me is the journey - I first talked with our bass player about this project something like 5 years ago, and we've actively been working to make the thing happen for at least a year and a half.jeremyb wrote:Awesome, must be such a buzz playing in such a pro band!!
To see it working after all that is a very cool feeling, but there's still a lot of work to be done
You too can play covers songs - just dress it up REAL pretty, give it a brand and you're off!Mike Clayton wrote:Awesome review, man I'd love to be in a band like yours!

Yes true, the hard part is finding like-minded band members who want to do the hard yards. I did 10 years in our covers band "5th Quarter", I think we peeked in year 1 & slowly went downhill until the second divorce which has been permanent. Probably lack of real talent too. Oh well, we got paid for gigs (a Pro band )!

finding the right people is 100% one of the hardest things - that's why this band has taken so long to get going. Sounds like you should start another band, you'll know the classic tunes already!
