Nope, we arrived at 2:59pm and walked straight in.

I couldn't believe the chilly bin crowd! Bloody hell, people round us just ate and drank continuously for 7 hours!

it wouldn't be so bad if they ate sufficiently, but some ghastly woman behind us just drank wine and moaned/whinged about work to her mate through the entire concert. Was pretty funny when she fell over though
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Hour long did the drive up there take for you rog?

Chilly bins were ok. The people with the trolly to wheel the chilly bins in was an eye opener.

We ordered one of the mission hampers that had a bottle of wine in it and a pile of food. We had so much left over that on Sun we went to cape kinappers for a pinic.

So no-one got clobbered by drunks under the influence of gravity...

My folks don't attend Mission concerts anymore due the constant downpour of plastered punters...they're old too!

I was quiet shocked at the crowd really and I doubt I would return to the Mission for that reason. It great have a few drinks and nice day out but the peasants were smashed before the main event. And they were old drunk people who just looked like they just left the trailer park.
That's the reputation that the concert has down here, a good day out to get totally plastered and make an idiot of yourself. I've avoided going before, but thought I'd make the effort for Mr Clapton, don't see myself going to another one though. :?

Hard to get a clear run at, I always seem to get caught behind farmer Bloggs and his knackered 16 foot wide 1980 Mazda ute, unable to exceed 30 km/h but using as much road as a 30 tonne "B train"...

Raglan!!

I used to sleep on the beach there. One of my fav surfing spots!! Nice big, long left-hander with a cool fast section at 3/4 tide!
