Eventide

Post by Kloppsta »

Howdy ya'll...

Has anyone had any experience with Eventide gear? Namely the Ultra-Harmonizer processor's? I have been offered a "H3000-D/SE" model for a reasonable price. I have seen the "Eventide Ultra-Harmonizer" appear in MANY MANY "gear lists" of famous & not-so-famous guitarists. They "seem" to be the pinacle effects processor, but they are pretty old now and I wonder just how good are they compared to a bunch of "tried & true" stomp boxes? The reason I ask is that I am in the process of "sorting" my effects and buying a few pedals from analogman, which in their own right should be awesome, but would the H3000 be better?

My effects chain (about 80%) complete looks like this -

Ibanez TS9/808 (Silver Mod - Analog Man)
Teese Wizard Wah
Boss DD-20 Giga-Delay
Voodoo Labs Analog Chorus
Electro-Harmonix Small Stone (Analog Man Modded)
DigiTech WH1 Whammy
Boss BF-3

Would I be better off buying the Eventide and a Midi Foot Controller?
Little by little, by hook or by crook

I know of someone that had one of these. He rated it, though he did say it was a bit finicky for settings. If the price is right, you probably can't go that wrong with it.

Nice chain by the way, the analogman stuff is pretty good. Good to see you are keeping up the pedal pimping =)
