Strat Refinish

Post by TMG 03 »

I took my Black Strat to Ash to get re finished back in Dec 04. Finally picked it up last night. Not due to Ash taking his time but more me forgetting where I left it. :P

Got it done in a nice 57 sunburst strat way. I am totally in love with it and the colour is just what I wanted. THanks Ash, Top work and I look forward to get the next one done.

Here she is with my Highway 1 strat. I have a thing for tortise pickguards. All my fenders have them.

to me the bridge HumPU looks more like a SD lil'59 or lil scream demon.

Thanks, you have to wait util the light is just right.

I think it is a seymour duncan screaming demon. Basically a humbucker in single coil format.

This strat has that in the bridge and the orginal strat pup in the middle with a Seymour duncan SSL-1 vintage staggered pup in the neck.

The neck one is the best soundsing strat pup I have heard. The HW1 has one as well.

:D

I agree with you - hard to beat tort on a Fender - they seem made for one another.
He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...
