I think I may have to take this back. Yes the lower drive channel is a bit lacking in definition, but the main drive channel is not mushy, nor simply "better clarity". I've just been playing it for a while, and it's more like a fricking revelation :shock: God it's a gorgeous noise. The clean tone really is too hard for my taste, but frankly my dear, I don't give a damn. 8) The lead tone I get out of this is just gorgeous. Soooo much better than the super distortiojn ever sounded in my plywood-bodied samick strat (funny, that :P ).

I is a very happy chappy :D
