I have the Fernades Sustainer in one of my guitars. It has a toggle on/off switch and a push pull pot that increases the amount of sustain and when it is pulled up it puts in some sort of "harmonic" setting. It is really fun.
Anyhow, I want to controll the sustainer a little differently. What I would like to have is a pot that "clicks" off when turned all the way to the right (down, low) position. Turning the pot to the left (up, high) would "click" the sustainer on and increase the amount of sustain as it it turned. When pulled up the pot will switch the sustainer into the harmonic mode. I hope that I explained this well enough. I'm pretty much looking for a push/pull pot that "clicks" on and off.
My question is, does this exist? If so, where can I get one and how much should I expect to pay for it?
Does this type of pot exist?

I haven't seen such a beast in my travels, and I doubt that they exist as the push switch mechanism occupies the same space the click switch would normally occupy. You might just have to live with separate switches.

Oh, so it is electronically possible. They just don't readily manufacture one and I would have to have it built? How much does that cost?bluesgeek wrote:worse than that - Rog was referring to RS Components (Radio Spares as was) , if they haven't got it you would need to have one built.
Shame
Exactly, only with pull up switch thingy (sorry, lack of technical knowledge) that would put it harmonic mode.angry_young_poet wrote:kinda like those really really old tv's.. when you switch the volume counterclockwise and it reaches zero, it clicks and the tv is off..
