Yep you have to ground everything. So for instance in the tele I covered the neck pickup cavity and then ran a ground wire to the neck cavity, and wrapped all the wires running through the cavity linking route with the same copper tape, soldering each end of that tow the tape in each cavity. Eventually joining to the same ground wire to the bridge. I also taped the route where the jack wires go. If you do this, be sure to insulate the jack tip contact so that you don't short it on the copper in the jack route.
It's piss easy.
I'll put some happy snaps up later or tomorrow.

It's fiddly but so cheap compared to the sheets. And it's self-adhesive.
I don't find the solder joints fiddly, copper is a dream to solder to.

Went from unusable buzziness in the evenings when the lights and dimmers were on to near silent, even with fingers off the strings.
Did my p bass too with similar results.
Just thought I'd mention as it's cheap stuff and very easy to work with.
I had a quick look in mitre 10 (no bunnings near where I was) and had no luck in the electrical section .... who would have though to look in the garden centre

Yeah, sorry, that bits easy I meant sticking the slug tape in.
Saying that though, it's really not that bad is it? If you're clumsy like me then the tape gets stuck to itself and folded and blah... But normal hands are probably fine.
The best things in life are actually really expensive!
