Ash Lap steel

Post by dc »

Some of you may remember this lap steel. I'm now the proud owner. I decided I didn't like the flat top so I'm dealing to it with a disc grinder, need some curves!

Didn't like the finish either so it's going nude, hopefully a few sweat stains will eventually give it character. Ash will turn in his train.

Here's how it sounded before. Just have to wait and see for the after. Me n' the boys jamming, dubbed the solos after. https://soundcloud.com/david-cheetham/ava

I've never gone au natural before. It's nice wood, feels great.

Just need a steady hand with that disc grinder lol
