LP- HB or P90

Post by MrDINO »

Just thought I'd see who's tried swapping their Les Paul humbucker pickups out for P90s and what your impression was.

I really like P90s and seem to migrating away from humbuckers. I use the P-Rails option from SD--good P90s and some really useful additional tones thrown in for free if you use the advanced wiring options.

GFS Mean 90s are awesome if you want a bucker sized p90. Cant beat the price either!

Well if he already has Harmonic Design Z90s, then we are wasting our time with further help. Fit them!

That didn't take long....I haven't had a chance to do it yet. I know they'll be great but wanting to know who else has tried them in an LP

The ones in the LP are Bareknuckle mules and were a great step up from the classics but the more I listen to that P90 sound...

I reckon I'd like to try some lollartrons at some stage as well....cheaper than buying guitars

We should get together and form a Z90 fan club! (it is even a cool name)
