This guitar only retains a Tele body, the neck, neck pickup, pots, cap, wiring have all been changed as i was after a versatile, basic guitar that had this look so im not after traditional Tele sound. I prefer 6 way intonation and want to keep the ashtray. Ill look for a set of six flatter saddles with shorter height adjusting screws that wont tear up my hand when i play hard.

know anybody with a pedestal grinder? could grind some length of those screws in 10 minutes and fanny's your uncle bobs wife. just make sure you do the opposite end to what the allen key fits into

I have thought of that, i have one at work.

What is best used in the threads to stop them from moving or rattling? Dont want to used threadlock as it will be impossible to move again.

whats moving? threadlock can usually still be undone, but maybe a drop of sillicon sealant ?

Theres a height adjustment grub screw on each side of each saddle, they work loose and either rattle or screw up action/neck radius curvature of the strings.

Current bridge and saddles

Wanting to replace existing saddles in above bridge with these....

As the intonation adjusting screws are so long the saddles in existing bridge separate from each other when I play hard causing tuning issues, i.e hard downstroke chords / chug moves all 6 saddles downwards and strings are sharp - I really hate this design saddle, much prefer Les Paul tune-o-matic.

Can anybody see any issue of replacing these round saddles with the ones in the other image, especially in relation to the alignment of where the strings come through the body in the ashtray and the alignment of where they sit in the saddle. Or do I need offsets ones???

Id love a Roller Tune-O-Matic type unit in there fixed to the ashtray if I could find one with 54mm spacing!!

Loktite shouldn't be an issue, just heat the parts before you want to move them

You can see both top and bottom E string saddles as well as the B saddle have gaps between the others, so they are moving away from the rest hence tuning issues.
