I'm an avid fan of that pedal show and Andertons.

In the realms of P90s, I've found Gibson ones to be the best...it's a shame not all their other models of pickups can compare.

Give the GFS stuff a try, bit of Internet research and you can find many gems amongst their range!

I ended up putting harmonic design Z90s in my R7. Superb meeting of metal and wood.

From what I can find the Gibson P90s are AL5 with approx 9 output, quite hot from what I can make out, do you think to hot for semi hollowbody?

nope will be fine
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
