To Do Or Not To Do
The Baja really hijacked my Tele requirements which has left the Korinacaster out in the cold, so a thought has occurred....
Firstly, let me say the Korinacaster is a polarising instrument. Some hate it, some love it but nobody has ever ignored it. I think that makes it a success and it's something I'm proud of.
Now what I'm thinking is to give it more of the weight and power it already displays by routing it for a P90. I'd be happy with a single bridge, sort of a P90 Esquire thing but could do 2.
Anyway, Thoughts, ideas? For all you 'newer' members, the red guitar is the Radian Forumcaster. Built by Adrian to specs determined by us. We were better than might have been imagined.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Wouldn't it be easier to stick a beefier tele pickup in there? Quarter pounder, DiMarzio chopper et al.

It's already got Lollar Special T's. Could be wrong, but to my ears, pushing the output of a single coil only takes it so far into P90 territory. And I'm really not a fan of high output pickups.NippleWrestler wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 3:14 pm Wouldn't it be easier to stick a beefier tele pickup in there? Quarter pounder, DiMarzio chopper et al.

The Lollar in the neck is lovely. This would be an interesting thing to explore but as I said, I really only need one pickup.
Guess where it isn't.

I dreamed it, I sourced the materials, I built it, I tweaked it until it was happy. I will not sell it.

Yeah. Don't care if it looks kosher, as long as it's impossible to put down.

The dogear looks rubbish. If you're going to do it, use a soapbar.
Also, don't you dare deviate from the 3-saddle bridge. Get one of these or chop your current one.

Maybe you could track down a Rio Grande Dirty Harry? That's a P-90 in Tele bridge clothing.

Don't route that guitar. It's a fully formed entity and fucking with it will ruin it IMO.

Re: To Do Or Not To Do
Alternatively, have you thought about something like this and one of the hotter TV Jones offerings?
It would then be completely reversible — at least visually.
