Kia Ora
Just took ownership of a Vintage Paradise Singlecut electric
Has what appears to be upgraded tuners
They are an open gear style 3+3 very similar to Gotohs
Anyone able to id em ???
Appear to have a 5 and 0 stamped on the bottom and patent ???! On the top
May be a cheap nasty Amazon special…but they are nice and tight and appear to hold tune very well
As for the guitar it’s solid ….got good wiring upgraded Gotoh GF 500 k pots

Re: Unidentified tuners
That's one way to put it. Every Vintage singlecut thing I encountered had been boat anchors!

Re: Unidentified tuners
I think the bottom stamp says 510.
Are they Gotoh SE-510s?

Re: Unidentified tuners
Wilkinson wj28 maybe?
Vintage is Trevor Wilkinson's brand so they use Wilkinson hardware a lot. The "W pat P" also made me think of the Wilkinson connection.
That stuff is frequently made by Jin Ho and Sung Il, 2 factories in Korea. They make quality stuff and I've used it a lot. Sung Il make all the Tonepros gear for example.
I think you've an older version, perhaps before they were branded, or maybe just a Jin Ho branded part. Their stamp will be on the underside of so, and it'll say Jin Ho Korea on there.
It also might be something totally different but that little flare design at the top caught my eye.

Re: Unidentified tuners
They look like knock-off Gotoh's being sold on Amazon, Ebay etc.
