Modern Gibson P90's, to my ears, are pretty damn good. People have moaned about the brass plates etc...but don't realise the old ones were also brass, just plated.

I generally set all vol and tone to 5, then adjust the amp to suit. That way when I turn it up, it has MORE treble as well as drive!
