here's the re-topping I did on my yamaha acoustic.....can't remember what the top is but looks kinda cool I reckon. I added the pentagram centre thingy cause thats how :twisted: I am. It still sounds wicked to

far out grain action dude... is that a verneer or did you get really inspired with a sheet of timber?

yeah its a veneer. I looked at quilted stuff and they want an INSANE amount of $$$ for it so I went for this. I was gonna stain it but got use to the natural look so I just shellac it.
