For the record. The best guitarists I know can have trouble playing reggae well.

agreed. can be surprisingly difficult to play even just one chord on the off beat, with percussive attacks etc 100% perfectly for an extended period of time...

cheers bro, I've some crappy (sound quality-wise) MP3's of both of those groups on a hard drive somewhere, but this thread (and your post) has actually motivated me to try to remember the name of an excellent online reggae record shop - cos I need sum new vinyls and tbh I have only 1 or 2 reggae records atm... and I just remembered.
