Wanted: Guitarist in the tron
We want a guitarist to share lead duties with me, back up vocals and just generally be bit of a good bastard really.
The rest of the band are 30+ got jobs etc so we kind of meet to practise when we can to accomodate, aiming for originals plus a few covers to fun up and want to have at least a few gigs under the belt before the year is through.

Our band is about to go on hibernation holiday so I'll be sitting on my hands later this year... BUT... I seriously don't think I'm good enough for other bands ^__^

Your playing is the bombz, but what amazes me is how you were able to get killer recordings and multi tracked composisitons together back when you were making do with something like an epiphone, pocket pod and a soundblaster, while others might have the fanciest gear but their recordings are not half as good.rob_on_guitar wrote:I aint the best guitarist by a long shot, my stuff is pretty simple....

Re: Wanted: Guitarist in the tron
Just having a listen to the Deadlights track now - seriously great. Riffage reminds me of earlier Haunted, Arch Enemy, Meshuggah etc. Ace!
Unfortunately (for me) the technical skills involved are a bit over my head... even if I do have a background in hardcore/metal, it was on bass not gat, and my gat skills just aren't upto this level. Plus with a band like this, I'd have to sell all my Fendery stuff to buy a big fuck-off Splawn halfstack of doom... that'd be so much fun though Ahhh, dreams.
Goodluck putting a band together Rob, this is gonna be soooo good.

Re: Wanted: Guitarist in the tron
Thanks guys, Deadlights i think is probably the heaviest, there are a few hard rock, ballad types, straight metal ones.
As long as its fun I guess. At the moment Im having to play/rewrite the songs to single guitar versions. HD500 looking good!
