Bassist requires fellow interested musicians...

Post by BatGoat »

At the moment, I am a bass player without a band. I would like to extend an invitation to fellow musicians for jam sessions to see if things can get moving towards forming a band.

It has been a while since I have played and I really feel the need to kick off some ring rust and get back into music.

I am located just outside of Palmy, for those interested and have room to kick out some mean jams.

Batgoat is an awesome forum name. Even more awesome if it is also your real name, except that then you would have parents who named you Batgoat and that might not be so awesome....

... I have nothing else to add. Sorry.

I'm also a bassist just outside of Palmy. I've had to prostitute myself and downgrade to guitar. Its a huge step backwards musically, but ... needs must. Diversify young brave, diversify.

I am 34 years young. Don't really mind how young or old people are, or what gender they be, or even what level of experience they have. My idea is simply to get together at first and jam. It will either work, or it wont, and from there, it can be decided what the next step or steps will be.

My preferred styles range from the likes of Pink Floyd, The Who and The Beatles, through to Indie styled music like Snow Patrol. But I am also keen on meeting songwriters and creating original material.

Kumbaya has it's place... but I don't have a ukulele. I once owned a mandolin though, if that helps. Lol.

dont think you need to worry about that Rog
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

I know a few guys who might be interested. None of them are forumites. Next time I see them I'll enquire for you. Never know your luck, mate. If they want to proceed with anything, I'll flick you a pm. OK?
