If a tune needs one note, I prefer to put five of them in. This sums up my playing style.

'cruisey rock/metal' sounds good, but a ballady one would be good too.

So wouldn't you know it, I made the first track, and now the drummer and singer love it....so I'm thinking, do I give it to the band or you guys??

Or both??

What are the rules in this regard?

Personally Id like to keep the two separate, but I don't mind sharing....what do you guys think?

that is very cool...and IMO to good to be just an instrumental (but as a rule I hate instrumentals anyway). There is nothing wrong with having 2 versions of one song either

That is fricken awesome! I had a jam over it and I think it would be much better with vocals. There isn't much room for lead guitar melodies.

But yeah... it's fricken killer!

Coming along good. The intro could do woth something extra like some chimes and perhaps keyboard to add a little atmosphere to it. I also think there is little room for soloing in most of the song but plenty of room for more layers. At the very end where there is that neat repeating patten that builds up to the point where it goes back to that ZW sounding riff may be the only part where some lead guitar might fit. It would have to be composed though, or just extremely fast in more or less the correct key, lolz.
