My band recently recorded and two songs are currently being professionally mixed and mastered. One song is almost complete, but we realised during the mixing process that the other song requires some female backing vocals. The style is (more or less) alt-country, and we are after a short, breezy backing vocal part for the chorus. The song is pretty simple and straightforward, and the backing vocal part is short. Someone with an Emmylou Harris type style would fit well.
So we are looking for a singer to come over and record the part – we would then send it to the producer to mix in. The catch is that we can’t afford to pay anything, the reward would just be being part of a cool project (which will be professionally produced), and a copy of the finished product.

I know this is a guitar site, but I am posting here anyway because in the past I have not had good response to “musicians wanted” ads on other sites, so I am trying here.
