vocals, guitar and drums are looking for a bass player in the Bay to perform good ol dirty pub rock. fun is the emphasis, but gigging ASAP is the goal. from steelers wheels to alien ant farm. is this your thang?

well it was all part of our strategy to filter out those who were not sharp enough to figure out which 'Bay' 'RotoVegas' is in. Safe to assume that if you have to ask which bay, you're probably not quite the calibre required to pass the audition. sense of humour is also a part of the criteria, but that would be humour rather than lowest base (oh, god not a punn) element of pointing out another's folleys. bring it on team...

LOL - I've been part of the internet forum community since 14k4 modems were the newest thing.

I participate in a lot of forums, all over the world in all sorts of subjects.

One element is constant - very few threads EVER keep on track.

I can't see this place being any worse. For most of us, its just harmless fun. If it offends anyone - deepest apologies.

However, I can't see myself changing too much...

I still have no idea which bay...

Here here! Well said Rog. You can't take things too seriously all the time ya'know....helps to poke a bit of fun. Besides, I also have no idea which "bay" either. Other people who haven't lived in NZ all their lives may find it difficult "guessing" which bay it is too.

so I was coming back every so often to the site to see who'd responded - then couldn't even see the responses in the first place...
turns out I was looking at the same ad on a different site wich didn't actually have the opportunity to responde onsite and leave such a trail of joy.
sharp as a marble - that's me...
maybe I'm not the kind of calibre we're looknig for in the band? still I'm just the singer, a bass player needs brains.
