Guitarist available AKL
EDIT - 1.1
Right. Looking to start a band, or an acoustic duo, or join a band, or whatever.
I know many many songs. What I don't know I can pick up quickly.
Mostly rhythmy goodness.
3 Doors Down, Birds of Tokyo, Eagles, Good Charlotte sorta (up to the 3rd album) Blink 182 sorta, Green Day, Hoobastank, Jet, Keane, KT Tunstall, even The Corrs, The Rasmus, These Four Walls, Thirsty Merc, Travis, U2, a sprinkling of GnR / Slash... and most importantly, Foo Fighters!
Can you tell I was looking through my mp3s in alphabetical order?
Hell, I haven't played a lotta these bands in ages but it's all there.
Those are some of the main bands / artists I've learned, there are many more that aren't springing to mind at the moment.
Include classic rock in your estimations
And acousticy splendour
Anyways. That's what I play.
I learn pretty quickly, happy to collab with people on originals
Oh, I learned These Four Walls's's's first album too =P
I'm 25, live in east Auckland, I have my own transport and gear.
So uh... if anyone's local and fancies a jam, let me know eh?
BUMP - Let's have another crack at this
Looks like the guy I was jammin with is back at Uni aaaaaaand outta the picture.
Let's be specific to get the ball re-rolling, shall we?
We shall.
If anyone can play a shitload of Foo Fighters songs, lemme know. Damn good place to start.
I know most of 'em.

Welcome along, mate.
Good luck, there's a bunch of lazy-arsed Akl musos here. The trick is motivating them to put the Cuervo down and pick the geetar up... I'd suggest you leave a trail of lemons and some salt.

He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...

Thank you, kind sir... I'll get the salt ready. Might throw some hot chips in too.

Not to detract from the main theme of the thread (which is, of course, booze ) but...
Yeah, I know Kristie. *tilts head*

You guys will probably vaguely recognise each other, as I'm sure you have attended a few of the same Transit of Venus gigs over the years...Drewseph wrote:Not to detract from the main theme of the thread (which is, of course, booze ) but...
