Bass player available

Post by Hayden112 »

My name is Hayden Kirk, I am 24 years old and I am a recent graduate of music looking to join a band. I play bass but I can also provide backing vocals when needed. I'm not bothered if I play originals or covers (ideally originals but I'm not too fussed). Please feel free to contact me if I seem like the kind of cool, laid-back guy you would want in your band

I'm situated in Ruawai, Northland. It's close to Dargaville and Whangarei

I lived at Baylys Beach when I was a kid. Are there many muso's in your area?

Might wanna think about moving somewhere else to pursue your rock and/or roll dreams
I'm just looking for some musos in the Northland area to jam with and play some gigs. I'm not looking to be the next big thing just yet

At least Ruawai is close to Auckland though which is a sizable hub. Gore's nearest town is Invercargill and there's not much music life down there either (I should know I spent the last few years studying music down there). It used to be fairly decent but it's gone down-hill the last couple of years

Yeah, it's an old forum thing, to talk about the bright lights of Gore.

Seriously though, hope you find some people to play with.

If worst comes to worst, you can always take a page from this guy's book.

Oh ok lol

Yeah that guy is cool. I've watched heaps of his videos, he's really talented. I've still got much to learn before I reach that kind of skill

I think I remember someone from Whangerai was in a band or something. Not sure, my mind is going.
