I should probably take my gear out of the bedroom and jam with other people... Do week days work for you? I'm working late this week but can probably do something next week?

Re: Looking for people to jam with - Waikato
Lyle came over yesterday for a jam session with my son and I, we had some fun and a few laughs as well as having a go on each others guitars, got the earwax blown out of my ears by Lyle's amps, would have been even better if we had someone playing bass with us to really get things kicking along. My amp really kicked into life when I copied the eq settings from one of Lyle's amps which gave the laney cub head the sound I have been trying to get.

Maybe a cranked AC30 was a bit excessive for a garage jamstratkiwi wrote: got the earwax blown out of my ears by Lyle's amps

Lol it was my first time hearing an AC30 and I liked it, those things are louder than satan for a 30 watt amp and here I was eyeing up an AC100 head and cab that was listed on trademe prior to getting the laney, glad I didn't get it as it would have been sitting in the noise control officers confiscated goods room about now but that little marshall of yours was an awesome sounding amp.Lyle wrote:Maybe a cranked AC30 was a bit excessive for a garage jamstratkiwi wrote: got the earwax blown out of my ears by Lyle's amps

Ok I know this thread is old but I am digging it up as I am still looking for people to jam with and I am not doing rock stuff anymore as I am more interested in metal/hard rock
