Not in my experience. Who Loves Who The Most gets an OK-ish response - nothing to really rave about, but Victoria has never failed...

...to clear the dance floor. We had it requested for a private function where we were being paid REAL well. Learned it, tried it out at a few bar gigs, watched the crowd run away screaming. Played it at the private function, same thing happened there.

And we still got paid REAL well.

Why Does Love Do This To Me always goes off. It's not the best song and it's not exactly the most fun song to play, but as soon as that bass intro is played, everybody knows what time it is: time to sing along to that song you don't really like but you're familiar enough with to sing it at the top of your lungs now that you're drunk and your inhibitions are long gone.

The solo is ridiculously easy. Surely you don't need a tab. Particularly not the tab for Just Like Paradise by David Lee Roth

I agree about Why Does Love.. but not about Victoria.. well at not least as a blanket fail... I'm not saying it is a cert. more that some songs with some bands work and those same songs with another band may fail. classic example, Take Me Out... it's never worked for us, but most other bands have the floor packed with it... Love you Like I should 'should' clear the floor IMO, but when we played it with our original guitarist (who had a real penchant for it, and nailed it perfectly) it went nuts... nigh on every time....if there's sufficient passion in the performance or some X factor, songs that shouldn't work can and do.. if it's missing, songs that should work wont.

Everybody needs some tab at some point. What may be the "easiest solo in the world" may not be that easy if you're not at the right level... Just saying.

Slash-ed needs tabs for Nickleback tunes, he told me so.
