LOL. I actually had to youtube that in order to hear the song. I was sure I'd never heard it, until they came to the "I'm walking in light" bit, then I remembered it. I'd never heard it past that bit. It was from an era where I was a total music snob and if a song was outside of the' heavy metal' genre, it simply never got heard. I have a lot of catching up to do...

The ascending bit?

Is it something like this?

Code: Select all

------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------2------------------
----------------0-------------------------0-2-4----------------------2--
---------0-2-4-----------------2--0-2-4----------------------1-3-5----
--0-2-4-----------------1-3-5--------------------------1-3-5-------------
------------------1-3-5-------------------------------------------------

I've adapted Lyle's tab a bit and added a couple of notes. Note there are two alternating guitars doing the parts so one plays a run, then holds the last note while the other gat plays the first note of the next run, so you get a brief harmony where they cross

Code: Select all

Gtr 1
|-------------------------------------------------------------------------
|--------------------------------------------------2-3----------------
|------------------0-2-----------------------0-2-4-----------------
|-----------0-2-4--------------------0---2-4-------------------------
|--0---2-4-----------------------------------------------------------
|---------------------------------------------------------------------
|
|Gtr 2
|---------------------------------------------------------------------2*--
|-------------------------------------------------------------------------
|-----------------------------------------------------------------0-2-----
|----------------------------------2-4-----------------------1--3---------
|----------------------------1-3-5-------------------1--3--5--------------
|--------------------1---3-5----------------------------------------------

*could be wrong on this note, seems odd, need to check

last bit ( not certain he actually hits the last note, but it makes sense)

---------------------
---------------------
---------------------
------------1-2-3-(4) then into the bendy bit
------1-2-4----------
2---4----------------

Just a twangy tone I think. Reasonably sure it's tabbed in the right octave
