The best guitar campfire songs for FourChords app?

Post by GuitarWriterMan »

Hi,

FourChords Guitar Karaoke App is now available in the App Store New Zealand. FourChords combines guitar, karaoke, easy chords and lyrics in a new unique way and makes playing guitar easier than ever before.

Check out the review: http://www.iguitarmag.com/news/fourchor ... raoke-app/
or the website: http://fourchords.com

And what do you think, what would be the #1 camprife song in New Zealand we should publish in the app?

Do we actually do campfire songs in NZ? Or is that more a beach and BBQ thing?

Serious question, I've never been camping out here but then again, I'm getting a bit old and settled for that.
"Vince, have you ever tried playing an expensive bass?" - Polarbear.
"And isn't that the finest acoustic bass guitar feedback solo you've ever heard?" - Billy Moose.

My camping is strictly limited to 4 star hotels nowadays, I believe its popular amongst young folk and those that do the maori-strum, they'd also shower scorn on an app for that wouldn't they? Besides, 4 chords is 1 too many.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

OMG - the image of some fuckin' douche pulling out his iPhone 5 at a BBQ and strumming away at pop songs which have been transposed to shitty sounding open chords.

Fuck that. May as well just play Wonderwall on your iPhone speaker. Equally douchey. Less effort.

nah we don't do camp fires unless lighting a fire in a 44 gallon drum then standing around it drinking beer counts (oh to be a teen again.....not)
If Less is More Then Just Think How Much More More would be

If there's a hot girl around, you might need the relative minor.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

If she's a relative and a minor you should probably stay away.

Hahaha I gotta say this made me laugh, in a good way. I can understand your point and that's exactly what I wanted to hear - a straight opinion.
I personally like this app very much. Sometimes it's great fun to strum "shitty sounding open chords" and sing along to pop songs with your friends, have a few (yeah right) beers and laugh.
The app is great too for people who are starting to learn the guitar and who want to enjoy their favorite songs with simple chords etc.
And oh yeah that campfire thing.. I'm a guitarist from Finland and it's cold as hell here, the beach wasn't the first thing that came into my mind hahah. But still, I recommend you guys to check the app out. Peace !
