Good tabbing apps for Android?

Howdy... I'm after a good Android app where I can write tab for myself. Just a quick thing where I can jot down what I am doing.

I must be able to change the names of the strings as I often use open tunings. Oh, and some way to mark capoing would be good. Or simply a "notes" or "remarks" field where I can describe what I did.

I don't really need a lot else. I've tried recording what I do, but because of the open tunings, capoing etc, I don't always understand the recording.

Any suggestions?

Surely writing it down in music notation will solve this issue Vince. It will certainly lessen the "I don't always understand the recording" scenario with diligent practice.

Well, it's nice to see you again. And thanks anyway, ok?

Anybody got a suggestion that answers my actual question?

Sorry if this stating the obvious, but have you searched the Google Play Store?
I've found many guitar related apps & they have one called "Tux Guitar" for Android.

Honestly, this sounds like a problem created by tech obsession. (Not your obsession specifically)
A handy pre lined notebook and a device known as a pen?

I record it and then save it with a filename like: "Standard tuning, chord progression, capo on 3". I usually can figure out then what I done. I find tabbing too hard :D

Same here, there's even a "notes" section on the file properties. But a lot of the time, the things I thought were obvious (and didn't write down) are anything but, several months later.

Yeah, I suppose that makes sense. I already carry a notebook and a pen anyway, come to think of it.

Hi, try with app tuxguitar:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... dmob&hl=en

Tuxguitar is a tab edit (very very similar than guitar pro) but tuxguitar is free :-). In google play or google store you can donwload a free app for android. Enjoy it :)
