Ah you may joke, but I was in the deepest darkest Wales this weekend with a few mates, went into a local restaurant for dinner last night and the owner came out of the kitchen and said,BG wrote:...We'll have no trouble here!Gelato wrote:This is a local shop, for local people!Jenesis wrote:But after all they are backwards guitars for backwards people, so it stands to reason that they'd have backwards logos.

'So how was the riding today?'
(look of confusion on our faces, as we'd not said anything to him or discussed the day's activities in front of him)
'You're staying in the Mount Inn, you're from the Cambridge area and you're (pointing at one of my mates) getting married in 4 weeks'
(look of confusion turned to a look of mild terror)
'Oh don't worry, we like to keep tabs on the strangers in this village'.
Turned out it was a local village wind-up to do that (went into a pub later and everyone stopped talking and turned to stare at us... then started laughing), but it was all a bit League of Gentlemen for a moment there...
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Awesome. But, I'm sure it would have been very disturbing for you at the timeDanger Mouse wrote:Ah you may joke, but I was in the deepest darkest Wales this weekend with a few mates, went into a local restaurant for dinner last night and the owner came out of the kitchen and said,

I play a lefty Jem in Tokyo. It was so high up on the wall it took 10 mins to get the ladder out to get it down....
To be honest it was pretty average and I failed to see what all the fuss was about.
The Tom Andersons blew it away.

yep isn't funny how so many guitar shapes look just wrong as lefties...maybe that's why tony iommi played SG's, I mean they can be upside down and you could really tell anywayJenesis wrote:Those look bizarre.
