Comments such as 'The stock speaker sounds like the car speaker I bought cheap from The Warehouse' do not bode well for the quality of the little thing. A vintage 30 speaker might sound better, but the accented mids and highs might not be your thing. Wattage overkill too. Celestion tube 10?
She told me baby when you race today just take along my love with you, and if ya knew how much I love you baby, nothin' could go wrong with you.

I'm thinking the Greenback 10" that Celestion are due to release could be a good option ... unfortunately, like the Alnico Gold, there'll probably be months between when they're supposed to come out and when they actually do.

Yep could cut it down easily enough but then I'd rather keep it as a practice amp. I've got a Marshall 36 Watt kit on its way from the States - got to take advantage of the interest rates - which I'm hoping will be my main amp in futureTMG 03 wrote:You could always do the Mr May trick and stack then 3x3 along the back of the stage.
Could you cut the cab down and just use it as a head with the Cab
though mine is just the barebones kit, I'll need to nail some planks together to make a cab or use some lovely MDF perhaps....
