Lenny through the DRRI

Post by mr_sooty »

I never really learned to play this song properly, but I just thought it was a good match for the amp. Getting some unwanted distortion in the recording process when I turn the volume up, either the mics or more likely the interface or Cubase. But anyway. Not as good as that guy with the Blues Jr playing the same song, but just a little muck around.

Nah, it's the new stock American Standard bridge, which has vintage style saddles on a 2 point fulcrum trem. The frets are medium jumbo I believe. The only mods I've done to my Strat are vintage style Kluson tuners, the pickups, and disconnected the tone control from the middle pickup. There's also some extra sheilding in there that I did before I got the Dimarzios.
