Just noting that it is a fansite and not an official record of their gear, so care should be taken in any assumptions based upon it.

Heres info from Wiki - Mick Thompson
Mick has also debuted his Ovation signature acoustic/electric guitar, labeled the MT37.
Hmmmm
Wiki also says Mick uses a Line Six Spyder2, but Rivera KR7 as his main amp...
I find all of this ever interersting....

Maybe Line 6 is moving up in the quality stakes?
I've never had one, or even had a decent play through one.

apparently line 6 have bought out bogner-played one of the bogner"alchemy"amps at shop volume and was underwhelmed......
the spider series are definately the metal zone of amps, always scooped to hell and as plesent as a rhino horn up the backside in the mix.the spider valve i have had some limited play time with at low volume but again its in a band situation or live setting where you need to get an accurate idea of how they sound.

No... the words 'turd' and 'polish' spring to mind when talking about Bognor's attempts at making a Line 6 amp sound good...

The main problem I have with Line 6 equipment is there is this prominent frequency in their overdrive and distortion tones that is always there, fizzing away regardless of what chord or note you play. It's all I can hear, it's really buzzy and horrible... and a quick check on youtube for a demo of the 'Bognor' Line 6 Spider Valve and all I can hear is that damn frequency fizzing away, as ever... I really do hate Line 6 gear, even their valve version sounds solid-state...

Wait 'til you're my age, mate. I'm lucky to even hear the music, forget the stray frequencies.
Of course, since I loathe distortion, I'd have it dialled out anyway.

LOL. I just prefer to hear the guitar, rather than the pedal.

So does that mean amp distortion is all good?
Funnily enough, even though I prefer solidstate amps for myself, I do agree with y'all that ss amps in the main have truly dreadful amp distortion, whereas many valve amps have better-sounding dist, if that's possible (for distortion to sound good, I mean)
Since I don't use that effect, it doesn't matter to me.

Ah that is because Rog is from a time when guitar amps were all converted valve radios and Jimi Hendrix hadn't been invented yet...
