My Magnificent Octopus

Post by slash-ed »

Heh.

Well, I set out to try and write something kinda classical sounding. It's still very much a work in progress, but if you get to the end bit and you recognize where I stole that from you will also know where the title is from.

Also, comments are always nice! I haven't really recorded anything seriously for ages. I struggled a bit with the uptempo hi-hats only bit, but oh well.

Let me know what you guys think.

I really liked it especially the pedal point motifs with the little twists.
I liked the 2 guitars in unison and harmony,
I cracked up to hear it resovle in such a cunning way.

Very cool. It reminded me a lot of Paul Gilbert's various classical arrangements. Good work, man 8)
