I reackon for the outro a freestyle solo in a style somewhere between Santana and Satriani would work well.

yea i ripped a solo at about 300 bpm but deleted it because it took away from the bass solo

They haven't really made any space for a guitar. I'd can that rather boring bass solo and put a nicely phrased guitar solo in there. Every time I'd hear some blazing guitar solo in my head, either a trumpet would come up or the bass would solo! Pshh, like anybody actually cares about those instruments!sgt mukuzi wrote:this song belongs to foul 30 's band. this is a cool track imo. ive tried to play somthing over it and sadly i have failed

The only thing I can think of for its current composure is to double/harmony the bass solo.
To be honest, I wouldn't add a guitar to a song that doesn't need one.

Re: foal 30 band song for you to play over
yes it's an attempt to offer a track where a guitarist adds to the piece rather than assume they are the center piece
I know this is risky at best.
Hopefully the first in a series where I ask Guitarists from the site to do their thing on a tune from the Equuslive Collective catalog. As per what the mighty Sgt has done, upload the track as is, the another version with their idea for guitar included. I was thinking this might be a way to increase site collaboration and maybe provide a playing example of some of the fluffery some of us may talk about at times.
Hope to have the next tunes on Disc and sent away by the end of April.
Have a Go.

Re: foal 30 band song for you to play over
I think the good Sgt is going to put two more "non-guitar" tracks up.
BG is possibly going to do a tutorial thread on how to upload and how to record guitar parts onto the site. Not all of us are up to speed on this whole processor have whatever "software" is needed.
I hope to make another 4-6 tracks available over the next month. Definitely some Blues. I have a fusion track I'd like some of the shredders to have a listen too... I guess it's all about what's people want to have a go on.
nice start anyway, thanks for giving it a go Team NZG
Spanking Mug = Bootsy Collins describing Armand Saabal-Lecco and Vic Wooten. Yes that is a good thing.
