Original track i recorded with some young fullas back home

Was "demoted" to playing bass mainly in this tune :P
Very "poppy" for my liking but was fun stacking harmonies and adding some metal interludes within the song.
Came out pretty tidy. Let me know what you think!

yea, all you guys need is a radio station to pick this up.
I`ll send this to someone to get feedback, I`m really impressed by this. it`s been a while too, it does have a slightly familiar thing going on I cant put my finger on.
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

really nice work, I know that whole intro verse lick from somewhere? its very Houndmouth Sedona sounding , can't put my name on the actual song then the end is very Like a storm sounding especially the mastering, top notch
can you give us a run down on how you did it, how many parts you ran, doubled etc, what outboard effects you applied.

Hey mate

Not sure - but no doubt that whole progression has been used a million times!

All done thru Pro tools.
All the key parts are MIDI through Serum (VST plug in)
Gats are all digitally processed thru Kemper/Protools - also ran my pedal board for "shimmer" on one of the guitars.
Drums are real
Bass digitally processed also
Mastering was done my a guy in Nashville that does a real tidy Job. Cost 100 bucks but totally worth it!
Only guitars that are double is the chugging in the interlude - think it was four guitars on dif pick up positions to beef it up. Everything else just came down to layering parts effectively and ensuring tones weren't overpowering each other.
Alot of pre-production work was done for arrangement and part selection.
