You reckon Meg White sounds like Gene Hoglan?

I feel sorry for Bonzo's hi-hats. They used to get a terrible thrashing.

I thought "Meg White" was Gene Hoglan's touring name :? No?

His snare took a whooping too, although half as often as other drummers' snares

The Ocean is alllll mine .,.,. sneaky bugger,
I've been a drummer in prev bands.,., the meanest riff in the world, - does anyone here rate Bill ward from the original sabbath line up, sim to bonzo and ginger bker with their percussive vibe,.,
ASh, how do you rate Fruity loops?

Fruity Loops seems good so far. I haven't played with it much yet. I have two new soundcards to try out so next week they should get a work-out. I only have the demo at this stage. Ascend uses FL on some of his amazing clips.

I was watching Alt or C4 with my flatmate the other day when Metallica - No Leaf Clover with the orchestra was on... I was just about to mention it as a contender for a future Metallica challenge when the next vid came on... Led Zep - The Ocean 1973 ;)

Hmmm.. quite right. I just looked on the box and it says " 1 x Ocean. Batteries not included. Seabed and Foreshore sold seperately."

I guess I'll just have to settle for dibs on the Zep song by the same name. ;)
Just dug out my Zep live dvd and listened to The Ocean. Cool song. I didn't know it by name, but I know and love the riff. Good choice, sir 8)

Looks like I'm first again ;)

So here we have the solo from Stairway. this was a real challenge for me, I hadn't played it before late friday night ;) Theres a couple of fudged bits but overall I'm happy with it.

Les Paul - Pod XT, didn't do the bass this time but did all the guitar bits.
