Dude, the more you do, the better it'll get. I extended my vocal range by at least an octave back in the 90s by virtue of dylan pushing me to improve, and basically JFDI. Ok, it doesn't sound pretty (and I've lost a lot of it by not singing much for years - which supports my main contention), but I figure that's ok if you just belt it out confidently. ;)

btw, I've just looked at my previous post, and it was a bit muted. :| What I should have said is that was fewkin' great! 8)

Haha, I will try. The neighbours may not be too happy, though.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

I wrote it for my ex-band some time last year.

Haha, my mate did some bass for it, but it simply doubled the guitar parts... Seeing as the goddamn guitar parts are already doubled (tripled for the solo! :D ) I decided that... he's gonna redo it when he has time. On 11!!

Unless anyone here wants to go nuts with it? It's not a very hard song, I play E a lot

That's really cool Slash-ed well done. How did you get the effect at the beginning of the solo, with you bar or some type of octave pedal?

Whammy pedal. Or close enough, anyway. It was actually the "Pedal Bend" thingamie on a mate's GT6.

Depends on what you're recording? How many instruments, n stuff?

If you're just goin to a backing track, I found Audacity was simple and stupidly easy... I am now an AciD Pro Geek though... :D
