Feel your pain bro. It sucks. There's a good chance it will end up on TM. If it does, bid up, win it, and meet the thief with members of the local constabulary. I was involved in such an operation (seriously) and my friend got his bass and pedals back while the cops took the perp downtown. So all is not lost.

This one huh?

Hey Guys, please keep an eye out for a Yamaha 5 string TRB5 Left Handed bass, stolen this evening from a car in Shortland St, city, It belongs to a Uni student and is extremely rare and expensive, pretty much irreplaceable, as anyone who puts their soul into their instrument well knows! I will get more details and put them through asap, serial number etc. - Dixon Nacey
